boohooo. i tried to upload some pics but i don't know why it thay can't appear! anyway i had been spending fruitful time for the past few days.
fri we had bbq at melville park. supposed to be mcg la, but in the end' my worst fears did come true. y-hopes outnumbered the visitors. but still, i wanna thank God bcos He has blessed us with responsive visitors. and most impt of all, we had FUN!
sat's service was like WHOA. pastor shirley showed us this short clip of the multitudes of people in africa worshipping the Lord. GOSH it was like totally majestic! we WILL move to that AMEN? anyway i was like telling jas who was sitting next to me that i dunno why but i was tearing, turned out that she was too (: as i was praying, God gave me a vision for mj. i saw an open air concert taking place in our sch field. and the audience were all sitting at the viewing gallery, worhsipping God with all of their hearts. i know that will come to past someday. God i pray that it will be soon that we see the harvest!! and as kim shared testimony about liyi's vision, i was in total awe. yu see, liyi dreamt about the 10th convert or sth for tpjc, and she remembered that her name was liyu. turned out that when the tpjc people were evangelising, the cleaner came to them saying that she found a wallet that belonged to someone called liyu. GOSH! AND after that, during inter-fac badminton comp, turned out that liyi's opponent was liyu! it'd all God's paln woohoo! i'm gonna share this powerful testimony to my sheeps to encourage them! (:
during yesterday's meeting, jasmine asked us to think about the people that we are working on.. and guess what. God popped more names into my mind!(:
today i went to uncle's house for my grandma's death anniversary. it's been 10 yrs since she died, but it felt like such a short time. as i was walking up the familiar soo chow rise rd, i noticed that nth really changed much in that area. in uncle's house, where i spent all my childhood weekends, i saw the familiar toilets, shirley's room, grandma and grandpa's photos on the second storey, i realised that nth has changed much. but i have changed. and many of my relatives too. as my cousins and i were walking around in thomson plaza, looking at the familiar shops and trying to catch a whiff of the kfc smell that was so strong long ago, i suddenly got this feeling of nostalgia stuck in my throat. it reminded me how 10 yrs can pass just like this and we are no longer young kids who can play around all day anymore. the shop that we used to buy all the idol cards were gone, the bread van that will go past uncle's house every evening no longer goes there anymore. gosh i miss those days! HAHA and we were keeping a lookout for my childhood crush who lives in the house next to my uncle's. damn funny we kept peeking into the house cos we saw the army uniform and just nice he's supposed to be 19 this yr! my mum was like contemplating whether to ask his dad if he's at home. so paiseh la! oh well, in the end we didn't manage to see him. HAHA.
ooooh thank God for my aunt cos she bought me a super thick red hairband and my mum who blessed me with new orange lipgloss. and to shirley, i'm NOT an ahlian ok. HAHA!
